Ilyas Efendiyev was a closed man to Azerbaijan, within Azerbaijan to Garabagh, within Garabagh to Fuzuli, to his own generation with deep feelings and his from time to time memories about childhood, the richness of ethnographic details in those memories, the profouness of the observations, his respect for the people who've passed away long before, the moral values of those days, the skilfullness of giving characters of the people around him, the coloring of childhood with three sentences influenced the man so that you have travelled his sweet childhood period together with him, having broken all the time laws.

[ 14.05.2010 ] PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA DANILO TÜRK WAS AWARDED THE ILYAS AFANDIYEV INTERNATIONAL PRIZE

May 12, 2010 President of the Ilyas Afandiyev Foundation Tural Afandiyev made an official visit to Ljubljana by the invitation of the President of Slovenia.
During the visit held the ceremony awarding of Mr. Danilo Türk at the residence of the President of Slovenia. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ilyas Afandiyev Foundation, Chargé d'Affaires of Azerbaijan in Slovenia and the government representatives of the Republic of Slovenia.
During the meeting, were given information about the socio-political stability, economic development, as well as government support of NGOs in Azerbaijan. The special attention was given internal and foreign policy of President Ilham Aliyev, due to which Azerbaijan became a leader in its region and the most dynamic economies in the world. In addition Azerbaijan implements large-scale promotion for Azerbaijani culture through various activities and projects at the level of government and non-governmental organizations. Ilyas Afandiyev Foundation follows these same principles.

[ 07.01.2010 ] SLOVENIAN PRESIDENT DANILO TÜRK AWARDED THE ILYAS AFANDIYEV INTERNATIONAL PRIZE

President of Slovenia Danilo Türk was awarded the Ilyas Afandiyev International Prize , established by the Ilyas Afandiyev Foundation. The Head of the Slovenian Republic was awarded the prize as a result of 2009 in the nomination "For Outstanding Services to the Development of Peace and Democracy".
