Ilyas Efendiyev was a closed man to Azerbaijan, within Azerbaijan to Garabagh, within Garabagh to Fuzuli, to his own generation with deep feelings and his from time to time memories about childhood, the richness of ethnographic details in those memories, the profouness of the observations, his respect for the people who've passed away long before, the moral values of those days, the skilfullness of giving characters of the people around him, the coloring of childhood with three sentences influenced the man so that you have travelled his sweet childhood period together with him, having broken all the time laws.

“Children are our future” Charity activity
Since the date of establishment Ilyas Afandiyev Literary Charity Foundation has been studying the boarding schools and children’s homes operating in the Republic and their conditions to realize its charity activities. The Foundation has already received some letters and appeals. Currently hundreds of companies, institutions, and non-governmental organizations operate in the Republic of Azerbaijan, especially in Baku. We consider that it is time to draw their attention to such an important field. First of all it is the duty of citizenship. The Foundation has caused to the joy of children residing at children’s school with presents and tried to rise of the mood of the ones deprived of parent care during Novruz Holiday Eve. Ilyas Afandiyev Foundation plans to continue its work on this direction in the future.
